Playa Famara Beach is the longest natural beach in Lanzarote and is totally unspoilt by mass tourism. In general Lanzarote is a very easy going island and nowhere is this more evident than Famara. Playa Famara beach is very popular with surfers, kitesurfers and also with naturists. Volcanic stone shelters are dotted along the beach and provide privacy and protection from the sea breeze. Towards the village of Caleta de Famara, the beach is popular with families and surf schools, whereas naturists tend to enjoy the area of the beach between the Playa Famara Bungalows and the cliffs.
